Patricia Warren, Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University, is an expert in sentencing, racial and gender stratification in justice outcomes, racial threat, racial profiling.

Dr. Warren is currently and associate professor at Florida State University.  She is a member of the Racial Democracy, Crime and Justice Network, the American Society of Criminology. Her research interests include crime and social control with particular emphasis on the complex ways that race, ethnicity, and gender influence sentencing and policing outcomes.

Her scholarly work appears has been published in numerous scholarly journals including the Justice Quarterly, Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, Crime and Delinquency and Violence and Victims.

Warren received her Ph.D. in sociology from North Carolina State University and M.S. and B.A. in criminal justice from North Carolina Central University.
